Sami Kiriaki is senior vice president and worldwide manager of the Texas Instruments (TI) Power Management business unit within the company's Analog division. He provides strategic leadership to help TI meet the demanding power management challenges facing end-equipment designers worldwide.

Kiriaki manages TI's large portfolio of power management solutions for portable and line-powered designs. As the leading provider of power management integrated circuits in the industry, TI's chips are used in virtually every type of end equipment or system design, from portable electronics, to telecom, industrial and computing applications.

Prior to his current role, Kiriaki was vice president of the Mobile Integrated Solutions group in TI's High-Volume Analog and Logic business unit, where he managed business strategy and operations, including product development of highly integrated analog application-specific products used in mobile handheld devices, such as mobile phones, netbooks and eBook readers.

Kiriaki started at TI in 1984 as an analog design engineer in the company's VLSI research and development lab, developing innovative digital-to-analog and analog-to-digital converters. Through the years, he has had a progression of leadership positions, including manager of Mixed-Signal Products and general manager of TI's Storage Products Group.

Kiriaki instills an entrepreneurial mindset with his team, focusing on strong customer interaction and support. His experience from 26 years in analog design has helped shape a deep understanding of customers' challenges and opportunities for growth, and will continue to drive TI's growth in Power Management.

Kiriaki earned his bachelor's and master's degrees in electrical engineering from the University of Rhode Island. He has been a member of the Institute of Electrical and Electronics Engineers for more than 20 years, and has 15 U.S. patents in analog integrated circuit design.
