Ron Slaymaker
Ron Slaymaker is responsible for communications with the investor
community regarding TI's performance and strategies.
He joined TI's semiconductor group in 1982 in Chicago as a design
engineer and worked in field applications and sales management
before moving to Dallas in 1991 in a strategic marketing role.
In 1993, he helped the company start a business to address opportunities
in the emerging digital audio/video market. After managing the
business for five years, Slaymaker moved into investor relations
in 1998.
He is a member of National Investor Relations Institute and
the Georgia Tech School of Electrical and Computer Engineering
Advisory Board.
Slaymaker received a bachelor of electrical engineering degree
from Georgia Tech and a master's of business administration
degree from the University of Chicago.
