Darla Whitaker Senior vice president and director of Worldwide Human Resources Texas Instruments Incorporated Ms. Whitaker is senior vice president and worldwide human resources director for Texas Instruments. She is a member of the company’s Strategy Leadership Team. Prior to her current assignment, Ms. Whitaker was vice president and manager of compensation, and human resource systems and services for the company. She has held various positions in human resources for TI including director of human resources for the application specific products business unit, human resources manager for the ASIC organization, and compensation manager in Taipei and Singapore for the Asia region. Ms. Whitaker joined TI in 1984, where she served in a variety of manufacturing and engineering assignments prior to her experience in human resources. In addition to her TI assignment, Ms. Whitaker has served on the Executive Committee for the Conference Board’s Council on Compensation. Ms. Whitaker earned a bachelor of science degree in electrical engineering from Southern Methodist University in 1989, and a master’s degree in business administration from the University of Dallas in 1997.
