TI's political activities and contributions reports are restricted to U.S. activity only. We do not make political contributions in any country outside of the United States.
Corporate
In 2009, TI made corporate contributions in support of two local initiatives. TI contributed $10,000 to oppose an initiative in Dallas, Texas, to restrict economic development resources required by the city. The company also contributed $10,000 to the “Texans for Tier One” ballot initiative to create the National Research University Fund and help seven Texas universities receive Tier One research university status.
Political action committee
TI also has a small but active political action committee (PAC), which supports various federal, state and local candidates. In 2009, our PAC contributions totaled $45,000 to candidates.
