In 2010, TI maintained membership in numerous trade associations. The total amount of dues paid for our most significant association memberships — those to which we pay $25,000 or more annually — was $1,138,752. Approximately $372,570 of that amount was used for lobbying and/or political activities that are nondeductible under Section 162 (e)(1) of the Internal Revenue Code.
