2012 performance
Results
In 2012, the procurement of semiconductor manufacturing and packing materials increased primarily due to the integration of three former National Semiconductor manufacturing facilities that TI acquired in late 2011. However, through our efficient use of purchased materials and our waste-management program, we recycled approximately 93 percent of all of our waste globally.
Looking ahead
In 2013, we will continue monitoring our purchase of direct materials and production demands to better understand our resource-use efficiency.
