About 40 years ago, TI sought ways to curtail transportation-related expenses in response to severe U.S. gas shortages and rising fuel costs. As the company grew, we established a formal Dallas-based employee trip-reduction program in 1996.
While we remain cost-conscious today, our efficient product distribution, fleet and employee commuting programs are also improving air quality and employees' health and productivity.
