TI employees raised more than $50,000 to fight breast cancer through support for the North Texas Susan G. Komen Race for the Cure recently in Plano, about $2,600 more than last year.

With 14 teams and 457 race participants, TI was named the largest corporate team.

Started in 1982, the Komen race today is the world's largest grassroots network of breast cancer survivors and activists fighting to save lives, empower people, ensure quality care for all and energize science to find the cures. The annual North Texas event is one of two walks that TI participates in at a corporate level, and TI employees participate in Komen events in other communities around the world as well.
