Engagement

It's not just about our technology. Our beliefs, values, actions – how we walk our talk – are what shape the perceptions of TI by our employees, customers, neighbors and shareholders.

Our reputation is built on quality and innovation. But it's also built by the relationships we create, nurture and grow year after year.

Building understanding, trust and respect takes time. It requires honesty and openness. It requires us to not only share our accomplishments, but also to admit when we fall short, and to be open to feedback about our performance.

Why we engage
TI cannot thrive as a business if we operate in a vacuum. We must consciously evaluate the perspectives of all those affected by our business to ensure that we are meeting their needs, answering their questions, and sharing our vision for the future.

Conversely, we must continuously deliver accurate, timely and relevant information on our operations. This conscientious effort enables us to gauge and address potential conflicts or misperceptions before they arise. It also requires that we understand the changing means in which our stakeholders prefer to engage with TI, so that we can better tailor our communications.
