Volunteerism

TI is passionate about philanthropy, and our spirit of volunteerism is an important part of our corporate culture. We believe giving and volunteering is about more than contributing money and time. It is about making our communities better places to live and seeking lasting results that go beyond the immediate opportunity. We encourage employees to participate in activities that benefit our societies and bring a deeper meaning to their own lives.

Volunteerism enables our employees and retirees to:
  • Build contacts and share their professional expertise.
  • Get involved in solving community problems such as education and health and human services needs.
  • Contribute in ways beyond financial support.
  • Explore various interests outside the workplace.
  • Reach out to help diverse groups at home and abroad.
Volunteerism helps TI:
  • Facilitate teamwork and collaboration.
  • Instill a sense of pride among employees.
  • Attract and retain a quality workforce.
  • Be a good neighbor.
  • Serve in leadership roles in the communities where we operate.
To encourage community involvement, TI regularly promotes local volunteer opportunities and recognizes those who are making a difference.
