Retirees
Community service does not end when our employees retire. In 1999, 50 TI retirees saw a need to continue communications, education and community involvement, and subsequently formed the TI Alumni Association (TIAA). Today, the organization has nearly 2,300 members who stay connected to TI. TIAA is also a retiree resource for communications, networking, health care and benefits education.
TIAA has always been active in the community. The organization increased its emphasis on volunteerism in 2009 by forming a community involvement team to plan regular volunteer events for its members. They share business and project-management expertise; donate countless hours of their time to charitable, civic and educational causes; and fundraise for causes important to them.
