TI has a long history as a company with an outstanding ethics and compliance program. Building on this valuable tradition, and in light of today’s business environment, employees must be aware of the laws that govern how TI operates for three reasons:
  • Complying with legal requirements is a part of our ethics program, and behaving ethically is the way we do business at TI.
  • An effective ethics and compliance program helps prevent lapses that can result in delays, increased costs, penalties, and diversion of management time from our focus on growth and other TI priorities.
  • Illegal conduct can result in serious harm to TI's reputation, a precious resource essential to achieving our business objectives.
All employees are expected to follow and adhere to the Values and Ethics of TI booklet and the company’s code of business conduct. Violations of applicable TI policy may result in prescribed disciplinary action.

In addition, TI’s leadership is held accountable for compliance across the company. Our General Counsel provides an annual report to the Board’s Audit Committee on compliance by all directors, officers and certain other managers with TI’s Code of Business Conduct.
