Our employees contribute a combination of money, people, time and teamwork, while the TI Foundation provides funds for immediate relief and matches employee contributions. When natural or manmade disasters strike communities where TI operates, the TI Foundation board carefully considers the circumstances and determines how to provide assistance.
TI builds strong relationships with local and international agencies to facilitate a quick response to natural and other disasters, and to resolve business-process interruptions when incidents do arise. Our emergency response, communications and security teams work in concert with site personnel to help them respond effectively. Also, when disasters strike in the communities where we have operations, our employees and retirees work to help recovery efforts through philanthropy and volunteerism.
