Innovation is critical to TI's success, yet no employee would feel comfortable innovating unless they first felt safe. That's why TI works so hard to maintain a culture where people can work free of illness or injury and where each individual takes responsibility for making that possible, regardless of where they work or the role they perform.

In our drive toward zero work-related injuries and illnesses, our company has virtually eliminated all serious injuries. TI continued in 2008 to maintain the best safety rate among participating Semiconductor Industry Association companies with full-time manufacturing capacity. Although we're recognized as an industry leader, we continually work to improve our health and safety management systems regardless of our performance.
