2011 performance

Results | Looking ahead

TI conducted additional biodiversity assessments during 2011, which found that none of our operations impact high biodiversity areas. While we acquired new sites late in the year, none of our operations were expanded and therefore did not disturb additional land.

Results

  • Of our manufacturing sites and assembly/test buildings, 85 percent operate in urban or industrial areas. The remaining 15 percent operate in rural/agricultural areas.
  • No wildlife mortalities were reported as a result of TI operations during the year.
  • No land was disturbed or rehabilitated due to TI operations.

Looking ahead

In 2012, we will continue to review the International Union for Conservation of Nature Red List to understand any potential risks and ensure that there are no impacts due to TI operations. We will also continue our commitment to minimize our environmental impact on all ecosystems.
