Air quality

We believe that being a good environmental steward means looking for ways to reduce air emissions and contribute to healthy air in the communities in which we live and work.

Our manufacturing facilities are subject to a variety of federal and state air-quality requirements, which are integrated into our management systems to ensure compliance. In addition, we consistently work to monitor and voluntarily reduce air emissions above and beyond what is required by air-quality regulations, where it is technically feasible and cost-effective to do so.

TI’s air-emission reductions are not limited to our manufacturing operations — we also have programs to reduce air emissions from transportation and maintenance activities. Our air-quality management programs, which are mandated at all TI sites, help us monitor our performance and implement new methods for improving air quality.
