This commitment is tracked through the setting and reviewing of relevant objectives and targets for TI operations.

Management and employee commitment and accountability

Management logoEmployees at all job levels are held accountable for compliance with environmental, safety and health (ESH) requirements and achievement of continual improvement objectives and targets appropriate to their function. TI provides equivalent environmental, health and safety protection to our workers and the communities in which we operate around the world, embraces responsibility for the outcomes of our operations and is accountable for appropriate responses.

Risk assessment of activities and processes

Risk Assessment logoTI assesses in advance the potential impact of our activities on the environment and the safety and health of our employees, and such assessment is an ongoing aspect of our operating processes. Operations are conducted in compliance with applicable laws and regulations.

Natural resources and energy conservation

Emergency preparedness

Emergency Preparedness logoTI is prepared for emergencies that could impact our operations, the environment or the safety and health of employees and communities in which we operate. In addition, where feasible, TI provides leadership to assist our local communities with improvement of their emergency preparedness capabilities.

Product stewardship

Supplier and contractor relationships

Supplier and Contractor logoLong-standing partnerships with suppliers and contractors are based on the suppliers' compliance with applicable regulations and TI ESH policies, standards and specifications, including TI's Chemical and Material Control Specification.

Public information and influence on public policy

Public Information logoTI promotes an open dialogue with our workers and the communities in which we operate. We work constructively with governments, the scientific community, industry and public interest groups to develop sound laws, regulations and guidelines for continuous improvement in environment, safety, and health while promoting useful products and global competitiveness.
