Material use and recycling

TI has long had a goal of zero wasted resources. Our first and largest leap toward achieving that goal starts by addressing waste at its source – by simply buying less. For the items we do buy, we strive to use each product efficiently and recycle where feasible. When it comes time to dispose of used material, all of our sites adhere to written processes tailored specifically for each waste stream.

Success in these efforts is good for employees, our neighboring communities and TI's bottom line. For example, the company's actions make the areas where we operate cleaner, healthier places to live and work. Conserving and recycling resources also helps us improve the company's efficiency by reducing costs and fostering sustainable growth in shareholder value.
