Company fleet
TI's small fleet of about 126 company vehicles primarily includes sedans, utility vehicles, light- and medium-duty trucks, vans, and six gas/electric hybrids at its North Texas sites. Depending on the need, we match vehicles for their ideal use; for example, to haul equipment for maintenance purposes or to transport employees.
To ensure optimum performance, we conduct annual emissions and safety inspections. For vehicles that have been driven more than 100,000 miles, we perform emissions inspections quarterly.
As financially feasible, TI aims to replace 26 less-efficient vehicles in a little more than two years with more fuel-efficient, lower-emission models.
