Products and services

We pay close attention to understanding and managing the environmental and social impacts of our products, including product end-of-life.

Semiconductor manufacturing suppliers are held accountable for the same environmental and social considerations through the CETRAQ process.

Education Technology suppliers adhere to similar policies.

All TI Education Technology sold in Europe may be reclaimed at the end of the products useful life through take back collection agreements with all EU countries where the product is sold. Approximately 98 percent  of the company's ET products can be recycled, reused or recovered.

Transport

We do not currently aggregate the environmental impacts of TI’s product transportation; however we take care to minimize waste through product packaging initiatives. We also reduce emissions and energy use where feasible, including efforts to minimize product shipping, fleet efficiency and employee commuting globally.

TI invested almost $418,000 in water conservation programs in 2010 and $6 million in energy efficiency projects.
