2013 list of the Top 50 Companies for Executive Women identifies companies whose policies and practices encourage women's advancement and whose numbers at the highest leadership levels demonstrate that commitment.

For the eighth year, the National Association for Female Executives (NAFE) has placed TI on its annual list of companies that provide winning career paths for women.

NAFE's 2013 list of the Top 50 Companies for Executive Women identifies companies whose policies and practices encourage women's advancement and whose numbers at the highest leadership levels demonstrate that commitment.

"This is an outstanding achievement that highlights TI's ongoing commitment to helping TI women at all levels succeed in their careers," said Steve Lyle, TI's chief diversity officer and director of Education & Workforce Development.

"We are proud to be part of this list, which considers every aspect of women's advancement − from policies and programs to examples of achievement and success."

The 2013 NAFE Top 50 Companies application included more than 250 questions on topics ranging from female representation, hiring and attrition to promotion rates, access and usage of key retention and advancement programs.

To be considered for a NAFE award, companies must have a minimum of two women on their board of directors and at least 500 employees in the U.S.

Kim Smith, 2012 chair of the TI Women's Initiative, said initiative leaders have been helping women employees succeed by addressing their personal needs in an effort to keep them engaged and interested in opportunities for advancement.

"We've really been stepping up our game by coaching and increasing the number of women who are advancing their careers at TI," Smith said.

"Through roundtables and other events, we've been providing examples of growth opportunities and stories of women who have succeeded. We want them to know that TI cares and wants them to excel."

NAFE offers members networking opportunities, tools and solutions to strengthen and grow their careers and businesses. TI will be featured in NAFE magazine's annual Top Companies issue, which will be distributed to NAFE members across the U.S in the February/March 2013 issue.
