TI co-sponsored the recent Metroplex Technology Business Council (MTBC) STEM Summit, a daylong event that brought together more than 70 industry champions and North Texas education experts to talk about the gap in science, technology, engineering and math (STEM) education.

Attendees included top STEM and administrative professionals from six area independent school districts representing more than 200,000 students. MTBC member companies like TI and Cisco wanted to understand the requirements of educators in meeting the challenges of providing quality STEM education and how industry partnerships can help create solutions for these challenges.
