Quality and compliance
TI achieves sustainable manufacturing excellence by educating and involving employees; listening to customers; and continuously improving its processes, products and services. We also adhere to the following internationally recognized standards to certify our quality and maintain compliance with global environmental, safety and health regulations and sustainable manufacturing principles, including:
- International Organization for Standardization’s (ISO) Quality Management System (ISO 9001).
- ISO 14001.
- TS16949, an international quality system standard specifically formulated for the global automotive industry.
- Occupational Health and Safety Assessment Series (OHSAS) 18001.
- U.S. Green Building Council’s Leadership in Energy and Environmental Design (LEED) building standards.
We also take measures to ensure that our sustainable manufacturing practices comply with regulatory and customer specifications, such as the International Electrotechnical Commission’s Hazardous Substance Process Management QC 080000 requirements. We integrate relevant controls across our quality, purchasing, and environmental, safety and health management systems.
A complete list of product- and operations-related certifications is available on our Quality website. Customers also can assess the compliance of our products with national and international standards at TI’s Eco-Info and Pb-Free website. This site includes downloadable reports that list both the amount and type of substances within our finished integrated circuit products. The information supports global compliance with regulations and helps with appropriate management of regulated and controlled substances.
