Missy Brady, a TI design manager, uses several TI work-life resources to help her balance work and family.

For the 18th consecutive year, TI has earned a spot on the Working Mother 100 Best Companies list as one of the nation's top companies for family-friendly benefits.

TI was recognized for its flexible work arrangements, company culture and work-life programs.

"We are pleased that TI is once again being recognized for its efforts to provide employees effective work-life programs and benefits," said Neisha Strambler-Butler, manager of TI Health Benefits.

"TI remains focused on offering a wide range of quality programs that enable our employees to manage their busy work and personal lives."

TI was inducted into the prestigious Working Mother Hall of Fame in 2010 and is one of 25 Hall of Fame companies.

Bringing balance to work, family

As the mother of three boys under age 10 and a design manager at TI, Missy Brady says she uses several TI work-life resources to help her balance her job and family.

"I enjoy attending Women's Initiative Network (WIN) meetings because they give me the opportunity to network with other women at TI, and with working moms as well," Brady said. "I also really appreciate TI's flexible work arrangements and the ability to work anywhere when I need to."

This was the first year that Brady was able to take advantage of the Texans Kids Camps, which are offered on site at TI, and she said she really liked them.

"My oldest was old enough to go to camp over the summer, and I was glad to know that he wasn't sitting in front of the television all day," Brady said. "He loved it, and that made me be able to focus on work instead of worrying about what he was doing."

For Brady, TI's flexible work arrangements give her the ability to be there when her children need her while making sure she doesn't miss any work-related deadlines or events.

"The work-life tools that TI provides truly enable me to have a successful, rewarding career, along with the opportunity to be a mom who can be involved in my children's lives and a volunteer in the community," Brady said.

TI allows employees to flex their hours or work from home if their job role allows it.
