Our board of directors is a diverse group of men and women with various experience and views. They oversee the company's current and future strategy, performance and plans for the next generation of TI leaders. Currently, we have 11 directors, 10 of whom are independent as defined by TI's governance guidelines and the New York Stock Exchange. The board, working closely with TI management, is dedicated to building shareholder value over the long term.
Executive officers
Our senior management team guides the strategic direction and operation of the company and bases decisions on the best long-term interests of our company and stakeholders. The team comprises our top leaders in operational, support and staff functions, including the chairman, president and CEO; chief financial officer; the leaders of major business units and of technology and manufacturing; and those leading TI’s legal, human resources, communications and investor relations departments.
