Texas Instruments

Auditors

Ernst & Young, or its predecessor, has served as TI's independent registered public accounting firm for more than 40 years.

We have built-in safeguards to assure their independence. For example, there is regular turnover at the junior level each year; there is a slow rolling turnover at the senior level for continuity; and the coordinating partner changes every five years in accordance with SEC requirements. We continue to ask for stockholder ratification of our auditor at our annual stockholders meeting.
