The PLL1705 is a multi-clock generator and is a dedicated solution for providing the audio clock with zero parts per million (PPM) error on the outputs, a necessary feature to keep the audio synchronized with the video. The device provides space savings by eliminating many external components and works from a 27-MHz input clock found in many video applications and derives the necessary audio clock used by TI's low power stereo audio codecs, like the TLV320AIC33.

The CDCE906 device has extremely low jitter of 60 psec and zero PPM offset clock generation for most A/V frequencies and applications.
