The KDC-X679 is loaded with Future
Ready/Already features like our
slick new motorized slide-down removable
faceplate. When you want to play a CD
(or MP3/ WMA-encoded CD-R/RW), just
press a button and the faceplate glides
effortlessly down, revealing the disc
loading slot behind it. After you insert
the disc, the faceplate automatically
glides back up for operation. An audiophile-quality
Burr-Brown by Texas Instruments 24-bit
D/A converter maximizes musical resolution,
while high-voltage (5.0V) preouts and
System E’s+ Advanced Crossover
System get the best performance from
external amplifiers. Designed to work
with our new digital tuner, KTC-HR100,
consumers can hear nearly 300 AM and
FM stations in more than 100 markets
that are licensed to broadcast digital
HD Radio™ signals with their conventional
analog signals. Many of those stations
are broadcasting in digital now.
