Hi. You’re here—and we're glad for it—so you must have
seen our posters, flyers, or cards announcing our Analog University
Design Contest and the Engibous Prize.
To enter the TI Analog University Design Contest, you must
be part of a team with a minimum of 2 members working on your
senior project in engineering at one of the following universities:
- Arizona State
- University of Arizona
- University of Arkansas
- University of California at Berkeley
- University of Cincinnati
- University of Colorado
- Georgia Tech
- University of Illinois
- Iowa State University

For your project to be eligible, you must use either 3 different
analog ICs in your design or 2 analog ICs and a TI processor
(DSP, OMAP, or MSP430). At the end of the semester, you turn
into us the same project report you turned into your professor,
adding a page describing the TI ICs you used and how they
benefited your design. It’s just that simple.
There are two phases to this contest. In Phase One, you compete
with other teams from your school for a $1,500 cash prize.
In Phase Two, the first-place winning team at your school
competes with schools across North America for a $10,000 cash
prize. All cash prizes are split among winning team members.
- Contest at Your School: Assuming at least one team enters
the contest and completes the contest requirements, there
will be a $1,500 first-place prize awarded at your school.
There will be a 2nd place prize of $500 if 3 or more teams
from your school enter and complete the contest requirements.
- Regional Contest for Engibous Prize: The first-place winners
at each participating school in North America where at least
3 teams completed the contest requirements will be automatically
entered into a contest for the Engibous prize. The first-place
team will win $10,000, 2nd-place will win $7,500, and 3rd-place
will win $5,000. These prizes are in addition to the $1,500
you’ve already won at your school.
