• Resistor-set adjustable current limits – options from 75 mA to 5 A available
• Industry-leading current limit accuracy (as high as ±6%) – saves power supply cost
• Latch off (-1) versions available
• RDS(on) as low as 22 mΩ available
• Tiny leadless packages – as small as 2x2 mm
• Single- and dual-channel devices available
• Not just for USB – ideal as low-current load switches as well
 
TPS2500/1
• Current limiting switch integrated with a synchronous boost converter
• Ideal for systems without a native 5-V rail – rails as low as 1.8 V can be boosted to 5 V and delivered to a USB client
• Capable of delivering separate 5-V auxiliary rail for other low-current 5-V system requirements
TPS2540/1
• Supports BC1.2 (draft) spec for intelligent, efficient device charging via USB charging port
• Integrated USB power switch and high bandwidth signal
switch – same device can authenticate a Universal Charging power device and safely control and deliver the power
• Auto detects between BC1.2 (draft) and popular Apple® devices – charges both quickly
• Supports two independent current limit thresholds
