These guidelines are for Texas Instruments DLP® Products customers, licensees, and other parties who manufacture, and/or sell projectors with DLP technology and wish to use DLP trademarks, service marks or images in promotional, advertising, instructional, or reference materials, or on their websites, products labels, or packaging. These guidelines are also for developers using DLP technology and wish to use DLP trademarks, service marks or images in promotional, advertising, instructional, or reference materials, or on their websites, products, labels, or packaging. Use of DLP trademarks may be prohibited, unless expressly authorized.
If you are an end equipment manufacturer and/or sell projectors with DLP components or subsystems, and have a separate agreement with Texas Instruments relating to DLP trademarks, please follow Section 4: Proper Usage of Licensed Trademarks and the trademark guidelines available for download. If you are not a manufacturer of products with DLP technology or do not have a separate agreement with Texas Instruments, then follow the Trademark Guidelines for Texas Instruments DLP Products: Usage guidelines for customers and other third parties and the appropriate available guidelines.
Only the following trademarks of Texas Instruments should use the superscript registered trademark symbol "®" following the mark.
All other trademarks and service marks of DLP Products should use the trademark symbol "™" following the mark.
Always place Texas Instruments or TI before DLP in the first occurrence in headlines and body copy followed by a superscript registered trademark symbol and then an approved noun and/or generic noun of a product or service. Second and later uses in the body copy can drop Texas Instruments and/or TI DLP and the registered trademark symbol but must still be followed by an approved and/or generic noun. For a list of approved generic nouns see TI DLP Trademarks and Approved Nouns.
