Year 2000 Readiness Disclosure TI ceased manufacturing and supporting its process systems products (including the D/3 distributed control system, S/3 supervisory control and data acquisition (SCADA) system and Real-Time Business Control (RTBC) products) in December 1994, when it sold its process systems business, which was based in Hunt Valley, Maryland, (the “Business”) to GSE Process Solutions (GSE Systems Inc.) (“GSE”)(1). In connection with GSE’s Year 2000 Compliance Program, GSE has identified that older versions of its products, including products of the Business as conducted by TI, will require modification to work properly through and after the
Year 2000. GSE offers Year 2000 evaluation services to its customers having older systems to determine the scope of work required to correct any problems. GSE has sold a portion of its assets relating to the S/3 SCADA product and other products to Valmet Automation (USA), Inc. (“Valmet”)(2).
Users of process systems products should thoroughly examine them in their environment and take action to remedy any Year 2000 issues. The failure to address these issues could result in system malfunction or failure.
TI also encourages users to consult GSE (internet: http://www.gses.com

as products sold after the December 1994 divestiture.
