SEARCH TIPS
Our powerful, full-text search features allow you to search with great accuracy. The simplest kind of search is to enter a list of relevant words separated by commas. You can also use operators to focus your search.
Simple search:
Search on: semiconductor, chip, DSP
This search finds all the documents that contain the words "semiconductor", "chip" or "DSP". Some documents returned may contain more than one of your search words.
Search using a phrase:
Search on: graphing calculator
This will find all of the documents with the phrase "graphing calculator." You can use a phrase just about anywhere you would use a single keyword.
Search on: graphing calculator, semiconductor
This search will find all of the documents that contain either the phrase "graphing calculator" or the word "semiconductor."
Using operators:
Operators such as AND, OR or NOT can be used. For example:
Search on: design AND engineers
This search finds all the documents that contain both the word "design" and the word "engineer".
Search on: DSP OR memory
This search finds all the documents that have either the word "DSP" or the word "memory" or both.
Search on: DSP NOT wireless
The search finds all the documents with the word "DSP" but excludes those that contain the word "wireless."
Wild-card search:
Not sure exactly what you're looking for? Can't remember the exact TI device number? Try a wild-card search.
Search on: SN74ALS00*
This will find all part numbers beginning with the SN74ALS00 designation.
Search on: Intern*
This will give you a list of documents containing words what start
with Intern -- i.e., Internal, Internet, International.
Using quote marks as modifiers:
If you search on:
"and"
This search finds documents with the word "and." The term "and" must be enclosed in quotes to be searched for to differentiate it from the operator AND. The same is true when searching for the terms "or" and "not".
