About TI Venture Capital Program

TI’s Venture Capital (TIVC) Program is designed to:

Provide TI with strategic awareness of new technologies and markets, allow close partnering with our business teams and external venture capital firms on investment and alliance opportunities, and provide financial return for TI.

The TIVC program is comprised of:

  1. Sourcing of deals and coordination with TI’s business units on selected TI investments as a part of TI’s Direct Investment Program.
  2. TI’s continuing strategic relationship with Granite Ventures, where TI is a key investor in Granite Ventures II.
  3. TI investments in and working relationships with several other leading Venture Capital (VC) funds that are complementary to our internal investment program.
  4. The TI Ventures Fund that continues to make follow-on investments in our portfolio companies.

TI established a corporate VC program in 1996 and remains an active investor today. TI will continue to partner with leading VCs to offer attractive advantages for start-up companies seeking funding. Since each early-stage company is different and unique, TIVC maintains a flexible approach to partnering and tailors the relationship on a case-by-case basis.
