Company Overview
Spectrum Digital, Inc. designs, develops, manufactures, and markets design tools for TI digital signal processors (DSPs) and microcontrollers. These products include scan path emulators, evaluation modules, and application specific hardware. Spectrum Digital is a Texas corporation with headquarters located in Stafford, Texas. SDI does its manufacturing in-house allowing competitive pricing in addition to better control over quality and inventory. Spectrum Digital markets its products through a direct sales force, and strategic re-sellers in the US and 22 countries around the world.
Solutions
SDI develops portable scan path emulators for TI's TMS320, OMAP, and DaVinci Technology-based DSPs, TMS470 ARM, and microcontrollers. The portability of these emulators allows engineers and programmers to take their development to the application environment by using laptop or notebook computers. We also develops Evaluation Modules, DSP Starter Kits (DSKs), and eZdsp for the popular TI DSPs and TMS470 ARM. These targets are standalone circuit boards with expansion capability that allow engineers to evaluate hardware and software prior to developing their own product.
