Description

Adaptive Digital's highly regarded "carrier-class" G.168 patented echo canceller provides: rapid convergence, advanced comfort noise, and handles a 128 ms echo tail without a performance penalty. Above all, it has a proven track record for providing excellent voice quality. G.168 features: Tandem Free Operation, PLC, Parameters are user configurable, NLP, CNG, Tone Disabler, Convergence monitor Cancels multiple reflectors, Stationary signal detector, and Handles Residual Acoustic Echo.

Supported Tools/Features The G.168 Echo Cancellation algorithm comes in three variants, each of which is designed to suit a specific type of application; Line (Short Tail), Network (Long Tail), and Packet EC (VoIP).
  • The Line EC is designed to operate inside a device that has a local hybrid circuit.
  • The Network Echo Canceller (NEC) is designed to operate in network equipment that may not have an internal echo source.
  • The Packet EC is able to handle round-trip delays of 512 msecs, and to mitigate the specific effects that packet loss has on echo cancellation in the VoIP network.
