LinuxLink is a suite of tools that enables developers to quickly and cost effectively design a custom embedded Linux environment, prototype it, build it online or locally, deploy it to the appropriate hardware, debug and optimize the system, easily deploy the environment for Linux application developers to build upon, and simply upgrade components for easy maintenance. LinuxLink is an end-to-end workflow utilizing open source components such as Makefiles and Yocto Project build environments, Eclipse-based and other GNU tools, and a framework in which to efficiently work and collaborate.

Supported Tools/Features LinuxLink is a software workflow package that supports both Yocto Project and Timesys Factory build systems. Developers can use LinuxLink’s free cloud-based version to configure custom BSPs and SDKs. Factory and Yocto SDKs are automatically recognized in Timesys’ TimeStorm IDE, enabling them to be used in the development, debugging and profiling of software. Customers who engage with Timesys for project-based support have full use of LinuxLink desktop Factory tools, enabling them to fully customize all aspects of their embedded Linux platform and application and build locally on their host.
