Solution Description & Supported Functionality

STAR-07 is a compact optical module designed for up to 0.7” diameter orthogonal pixel DMD arrays with 12° tilt angle. The STAR-07 has a direct mechanical interface for all 0.7” and 0.65” Type A DLP® chips. The DMD illumination is well homogenous thanks to an integrator rod that acts as a convenient light input port. Different types of light sources can be adapted: lamps, LEDs, fibre bundles, lasers. The operating wavelength range is 400 nm - 700 nm. Based upon the patented S2+ design, the STAR-07 is assembled and tested in a high-class German optics manufacturing facility.

  • The STAR-07 optics module offers leading edge performance in a small package and at an affordable price. The rugged design proved reliable in industrial and medical environment for 3D measurement solutions, augmented reality, and intelligent lighting. STAR-07 is platform independent and can be used for all orthogonal DLP chip formats ≤0.7” diameter. The optical module is available from ViALUX off-the-shelf and at any desired quantity.
