The HP-LED-OM-MultiColor is an extension of the HP-LED-OM-07 monochrome system. Three LED sources with different dominant wavelength are combined by dichroic mirrors. Colored projection is obtained if just one LED is powered at a time. Switching between LEDs is fast enough to maintain the full DLP® pattern rate of 22727 binary frames per second with the ALP-4 Controller Suite. Each LED in the HP-LED-OM comes with its own LED driver, so that the simultaneous operation of all three colors is another mode of operation; it can be used to obtain white light output at highest brightness.
