Space |
TI
HiRel continues to aggressively expand our space
portfolio and will be releasing additional
High-Speed Signal chain solutions from the Mixed
Signal, Analog and Digital product
families. These products take full
advantage of TI’s broad process capability and
manufacturing expertise, which includes the
BiCOM3 (SOI) process node that is inherently
latch-up immune and highly tolerant to total
ionizing dose (TID) irradiation.
TI
HiRel Space products are processed to stringent
QML Class V (Mil-Prf-38535) requirements and
encased in hermetically sealed ceramic packages.
All new space product releases will have
TID testing. In the future, TI’s space products
will have the appropriate radiation designator
in the SMD number. Radiation test reports and
listings of TI’s complete Space portfolio are
available at: www.ti.com/space.

Enhanced Products
(EP) |
In
response to the growing demand for ruggedized
commercial-off-the-shelf (COTS) products for the
Defense, Aerospace and Avionics markets, TI
HiRel is proud to announce certification to the
Aerospace Qualified Electronic Component (AQEC)
Standard (ANSI/GEIA STD-0002-1). The AQEC
Standard was jointly developed by the aerospace
and semiconductor industries to define the
minimum requirements for
commercial-off-the-shelf (COTS) components used
in military, avionic, aerospace, and other
rugged operating environments where
high-reliability and long service life are
required. Use of TI EP AQEC certified
devices facilitates the insertion of
state-of-the-art technology providing our
customers with a strategic competitive
advantage.
TI HiRel pioneered the EP
initiative. With over 700 EP devices released
today in the analog, data converter, power
management, DSP and logic product, we remain
committed to meeting the aerospace and defense
need for a comprehensive ruggedized COTS device
offering.
All HiRel EP devices are
released to a DSCC Vendor Item Drawing (VID) and
can be found on DSCC’s search engine at: http://www.dscc.dla.mil/Programs/Smcr/ |

TI
HiRel understands the nature of defense-based
programs and need for longevity and performance
consistency over the life of the program. Issues
such as device obsolescence, device
requalification due to inconsistent electrical
performance and requirements for harsh
environment operation are addressed by offering
a controlled assembly baseline, extended product
life cycle, and full temperature
characterization on all HiRel products.
TI HiRel offers a broad range of product
families and conformance levels fully qualified
and tested to meet the needs of the high
reliability, defense and aerospace customer
segment. We offer IC product conformance levels
that include commercial and industrial grade
plastic, known good die, enhanced product and
QML Class Q military grade
ceramic. |
