New in High Temperature Products
NEW High Temperature Products TI introduces new high-temperature transceivers
Targeting the requirements for extreme high-temperature applications, TI HiRel has released two new transceiver chips for data communications in harsh environments. These chips have thermal shutdown removed, and are characterized to +210°C. Both devices are offered in ceramic and known-good-die (KGD) package options.

SN65HVD233-HT 3.3-V CAN transceiver
  • Bus pin short-circuit protection to ±36 V
  • ESD protection exceeds 16 kV
  • Designed for signaling rates up to 1 Mbps
  • High impedance
  • 3.3-V supply
  • Glitch-free power-up and power-down protection
SN65HVD11-HT 3.3-V RS-485 transceiver
  • Based on ANSI TIA/EIA-485-A
  • Operates with 3.3 V
  • Speed of 10 Mbps
  • Integrated slope control
  • 1/8th unit load
  • ESD protection of 16 kV
New in Enhanced Products (EP)
NEW Enhanced Products (EP) TI introduces new extended temperature microcontroller family

New in Space Products
New in Space TI offers improved radiation performance on power and logic devices extending product applications into high temperature, medical and aerospace applications
TI has released three new versions of its HC logic family, the SN54AC14, SN54AC00, and SN54AC02 which reach total irradiated dose (TID) levels of 50K rads. These improvements provide lower leakage for high-temperature applications, as well as improved tolerance to TID for medical and aerospace applications.

Enhanced low-dose-rate-sensitivity (ELDRS) has become an issue for linear devices in applications requiring tolerance to total dose radiation. In response to this, TI is releasing in 1Q09 new versions of its popular Power Management family. These products will achieve greater than 30K rads tolerance to low dose rate radiation.

UC1825 and UC1825A: High-speed PWM controller
UC1525B: Regulating PWM
UC1846: Current-mode PWM controller
UC1843A: Current-mode PWM
