AM3892 and
AM3894, two new Sitara ARM Cortex-A8 microprocessors
(MPUs) deliver up to 1.5 GHz ARM Cortex-A8 performance with high system integration for faster, more robust applications. These MPUs are suitable for a wide variety of applications, such as communications, networking, single-board SoC computing, industrial and point-of-service terminals.
With extreme system and peripheral integration, the Sitara AM3892 and AM3894 ARM MPUs provide multiple high-performance interfaces, such as PCIExpress Gen2, dual USB 2.0, SATA 2.0, dual Gigabit Ethernet and DDR2/DDR3 interfaces.

Up to 1.5 GHz ARM Cortex-A8 core with high-level operating system support and multiple power and performance operating points
Integrated high-bandwidth connectivity peripherals (PCIExpress Gen2, dual USB 2.0, SATA 2.0, dual Gigabit Ethernet and dual DDR2/DDR3
interfaces) for quick transmission of data on and off the chip while saving board space and bill of materials cost
3D graphics for rich user interfaces (AM3894) and an on-chip display engine (for both the AM3892 and 3894) to output two different streams of content on dual simultaneous 1920 x 1280 resolution displays.
