Texas Instruments has introduced the TMDXEVM8168 evaluation module for its newest DaVinci™ digital media processors, which contains the TI EZ Software Development Kit (EZ SDK). This EVM and TI EZ SDK support the DM816x DaVinci digital media processor, the AM389x Sitara™ ARM® microprocessors (MPUs), and the C6A816x Integra™ DSP + ARM processors. The EVM and TI EZ SDK allow customers to evaluate their devices in minutes and begin development in less than an hour. New DM368 DaVinci™ EVM enables 44 percent more performance and opens door to development of new 1080p video applications

Texas Instruments has introduced the TMS320DM36x Digital Video Evaluation Module (DVEVM) that supports the TMS320DM365 and TMS320DM368 DaVinci™ ARM9® + accelerators microprocessors. The DM368 DaVinci™ Digital Media Processor EVM availability allows DM368 customers a higher performance option than the previously available DM365 EVM. DM368 DVEVM provides up to 432 MHz of ARM speed and up to 1080p video support.

The DM368 EVM kits are available for order today and include LCD touch screen, HD imager, USB mouse as well as the TI Software Development Kit and some demos pre-loaded on an SD card.
