- The Digital Field Application Manager is responsible for directing and leading a team of digital Field Application Engineers to accomplish organizational goals and objectives (business growth and market share) by design-in TI’s catalog products and solutions at customers, supporting their systems & applications development and solving all technical issues.
- He/She is primarily a “Field” person knowing and understanding the trends and the developments affecting his/her market, business and organization (Industry, customer, competition, partners). He/She uses his/her knowledge of the market /customers needs, business environment, TI’s catalog products and solutions to take sound decision regarding technical resources, and to deliver solutions and services that meet business need.
- He/She will build and maintain cooperative work relationships with Sales and Business Development and distribution channel partners, ensuring strong alignment of priorities and objectives, will deploy the competencies, the resources to reach the group goals. He/She will establish effective working relationships with other FAE Mgr, marketing and US product lines to maximize business opportunities.
- He/She will coach and develop the team of digital FAE’s to encourage and to inspire the development of work-related competencies and long-term career growth (technical, business and personal).
- He/She will regularly report team activities, business progresses, issues and vulnerabilities to S&A management and business organizations.

Qualifications:

Required skills and competencies:

- Technical Engineering Degree - Business Acumen
- 5 to 8 years minimum of design or field applications experience (TI or industry) with Microcontrollers and /or Digital Signal processors.
- Experience with SC technologies distribution
- Initial management experience – or team leader experience
- Competences in embedded s/w design and C/C++ programming.
- Academic knowledge minimum in Analog technologies.
- Strong digital design and problem solving skills
- Ability to interface with customers and colleagues at all levels including executive management level.
- Self Motivated , Energetic and Enthusiastic
- Can work to tight timescales under pressure
- Good presentation skills
- Fluent in German (As a native) and English
