DSP Conference

Selection

To ensure that the material presented at this conference is of the highest quality and is relevant, each paper will be assessed by a panel of academics and TI experts. The panel is chaired by Flavio Daffara, who until recently was a project leader in TI’s VoIP group, and is now a manager in the University Programme.

TI luminaries Dr. Gerardo Murillo (audio and speech), Dr Stefan Beierke (digital motor control) and Greg Peake (GSM and 3G wireless systems), will be working with an invited panel of academics. Amongst them are: Prof. Tariq Durrani from Strathclyde University, Prof. Genevieve Baudoin from ESIEE Paris and Prof. Josef Nossek from TU Munich.

The panel is also recommending the format of presentation and the best category for each paper accepted.

Cost

Admission to this event is free of charge to all bona fide members of the academic community worldwide. Under-graduate students will only be permitted to attend if they are supported by their Lecturer or advising Professor. Delegates are responsible for funding their own travel and accommodation costs, which for this location are very reasonable.

With TI providing lunch and refreshments on both days, and a grand dinner on the first evening, the subsistence costs for delegates will also be low!

Subject to space, we will also be inviting key managers from industry.
