Texas Instruments MSP430 devices are the easiest and most effective platforms for teaching microcontrollers. The MSP430 is a modern RISC device with a powerful instruction set and lean efficient architecture. It is ultra-low power and very easy to program. After using the MSP430 you will never want to use an “8051” or an 8 bit device ever again!

In Europe, TI will be donating 150 of these Instant Microcontroller Labs between now and the closing date of 16th December 2009.
