How to Enable Cookies on Your Browser


If you're using Netscape 4.61 and 4.72:

  1. Choose the Edit menu, and then select Preferences.
  2. In the category box on the left, click Advanced.
  3. Choose from one of two options in the box labeled Cookies.
  4. Click OK to save the changes.

If you're using Internet Explorer 4.0:

  1. Choose the View menu, and then select Internet Options
  2. Click the Advanced tab
  3. Scroll down to the yellow exclamation icon under Security and choose "Always accept cookies"
  4. Close your browser and re-open it to apply the changes

If you're using Internet Explorer 5.0:

  1. Choose the Tools menu and then select Internet Options
  2. Click the Security tab
  3. Click Internet, then Custom Level
  4. Scroll down to Cookies and choose "Enable" under both options
  5. Click OK to close the box
  6. Close your browser and re-open to apply the changes

If you're using Internet Explorer 6.0:

  1. Choose the Tools menu and then select Internet Options
  2. Click the Privacy tab
  3. Default setting is medium. Move the slider to determine which setting you prefer
  4. Click on Advanced for specialized cookie treatment

  1. Choose the Tools menu and then select Options
  2. Click on the Privacy icon
  3. Click on the Cookies tab/section
  4. Check the Allow sites to set Cookies checkbox
