In response to market demand, TI has released new versions of its popular UC Power Management family (formerly Unitrode) and AC logic devices. ELDRS (Enhanced Low Dose Rate Sensitivity) has become an issue for Analog products in applications requiring tolerance to total dose radiation. To help mitigate this effect, TI has released new versions of its UC18xx family with reduced sensitivity which will achieve greater than 30Krads tolerance to low dose-rate radiation. The associated SMD numbers are shown below. Unitrode Radiation Improvement Releases
In addition, TI has released new versions of its AC logic family, the SN54AC14, SN54AC02, and SN54AC00 which reach a Total Irradiated Dose (TID) levels of 50Krads. These improvements provide lower leakage current and improve radiation performance for high temperature, medical and aerospace applications. AC Logic Family Releases
