OMAP Initiative | TI’s
partners in India
TI's Partner Program (also known as the Third Party Program)
in India identifies and works with TI partner companies operating
in India. TI's partner companies deliver software/hardware
design services, or license IP components, reference designs
and production ready designs on TI's silicon.
TI's Partner Program works with such companies to:
- Guide them on the TI silicon choices, application focus
areas and types of partner offerings that it would be most
productive for them to invest in within the overall TI ecosystem.
- Work on qualified business opportunities with them and
with TI's Sales & Marketing teams, to help take customers
worldwide in to production on TI silicon.
Companies interested in joining the Partner Program can view more
details at the TI world-wide Third Party home page or
register online for membership.
Applications for registration will be evaluated based on submitted
information. Registered members will be issued with a digital
certificate and permitted to use the TI 'Third Party Network
logo'. This logo is to indicate that the corresponding firm
is an acknowledged developer of products on TI silicon.
For many companies, becoming an acknowledged member of the
TI Third Party Network endorses their business and product
offerings. Registered Third Party Network members in India
actively investing on TI silicon are entitled to receive a
free Code
Composer Studio license from TI. Other benefits of TI's
Third Party Network membership are described here.
TI works with many partner firms operating in India. Some
of these partners are registered as TI Third Parties (3P),
TI Approved Software Providers (ASP), TI OMAP Technology Centers
(OTC), TI OMAP Developer Network members (ODN), et. al. Some
partners actively undertake design services / IP licensing
for TI's customers, while not formally registering with TI
as a partner. More about TI's partners in
India.

towards producing a successful product. The team facilitates
an on-going interactive exchange of information through a variety
of TI sponsored developer community activities, allowing developers

Over and above regular business development support, there
is also a support infrastructure in place for realization of
world class applications on OMAP.
With TI's full suite of development tools, the resources and
initiatives of the OMAP Developer Network and the expanded
TI DSP Third Party Network, developers are able to take advantage
of the full capabilities of the OMAP platform's processing
power and low power consumption.
In March 2002, TI announced Wipro and Sasken as its two OMAP
Technology Centers (OTCs) in India. The TI India OMAP team
is also exploring additions to this list of OTC partners. OTCs
