LVC Little Logic

TI's LVC logic products are specially designed for 3-V power supplies. The LVC family is a high-performance version with 0.8-µ CMOS process technology, 24-mA current drive, and 6.5-ns maximum propagation delays for driver operations. The LVC family includes both bus-interface and gate functions with 50 different functions planned.

LVC Little Logic is created in order to reduce package thickness from traditional 1.0 mm down to 0.5 mm. This is essential in the market space as demands for smaller, thinner packages continue to arise.

The TS5V522C is a high-bandwidth analog switch offering a 2:2 dual-graphics crossover solution for VGA signal switching. The device is designed for switching between 2 VGA sources to either of the two destinations within a laptop computer. The TS5V522C integrates five very high-frequency 380 Mhz (typ) SPDT switches for RGB signals, two pairs of level-translating buffer for the HSYNC and VSYNC lines, and integrated ESD protection. The five crossover switches can be controlled by either 5 V or 3.3 V TTL control signals.

  • High bandwidth, 380 MHz (typ) RGB switching
  • Low ON-state resistance (ron=3 Ω typ)
  • Low input/output capacitance minimizes loading and signal distortion
    (CIO(OFF)=8 pF typical)
  • Undershoot clamp diodes on data and control inputs
  • Low power consumption (Icc=3µA max)
  • Data I/Os support 0 to 5-V signaling levels
    (0.8 V, 1.2 V, 1.5 V, 1.8 V, 2.5 V, 3.3 V, 4 V)
  • Ioff supports live insertion, partial power down mode, and back drive protection
  • Latch-up performance exceeds 100 mA Per JESD 78, Class II
